What is Fire Emblem Guess?

Fire Emblem Guess (feguess) is a free daily guessing game about the Fire Emblem series. Every day there is one mystery unit drawn from thirty years of the franchise — from Marth in Shadow Dragon to the cast of Engage — and your job is to work out who it is.

You start from a free clue, then type any character you like. Each guess is compared against the answer across eight traits, and the grid tells you exactly how close you got. There is no limit on the number of guesses: the puzzle is a deduction, not a punishment.

Everyone in the world gets the same character on the same day, and the puzzle rolls over at 00:00 UTC. That is what makes the score worth sharing.

How to play Fire Emblem Guess

1. Read the free hint at the top of the grid. It is a real comparison against today’s answer — but the hinted unit is never the answer itself.
2. Type any Fire Emblem character into the box. All 624 characters in the database are accepted as guesses, in any of the five supported languages.
3. Read the eight columns: debut game, starting class, weapon types, movement type, sex, home realm, number of appearances, and race.
4. Green means that trait is an exact match. Amber means you are close — the same class family, the same continent, or an overlapping weapon type. Grey means no match.
5. Follow the arrows. ▲ means the answer is higher than your guess (a later game, more appearances); ▼ means lower.
6. Keep narrowing it down until the row turns fully green, then share your result grid — it shows how you did without spoiling the answer.

Every mode uses the same 624-character database but draws its own answer from its own seed — solving one mode never spoils another. Each has its own page you can bookmark or link to.

How many guesses do I get?

As many as you want. Fire Emblem Guess has no guess limit — the shared result grid shows how many turns you took, which is the real score.

Which Fire Emblem games are included?

All the mainline entries, from Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light through the Jugdral and Elibe games to Three Houses and Engage. The daily answer is drawn from a curated pool of well-known units so that the puzzle stays fair; the full 624-character database is still accepted for guessing.

What do the eight columns mean?

Debut game (the title a unit first appeared in), starting class, weapon types, movement type, sex, home realm, how many games the unit has appeared in, and race. They were chosen because each one actually splits the roster — a column where almost every character shares the same value teaches you nothing.

Does the free hint give away the answer?

No. The hinted character is guaranteed to be a different unit, chosen by the same daily seed for every player. Its row is a genuine comparison against the answer, so the colours and arrows on it are real information you can build on.

Is this an official Fire Emblem game?

Can I play Fire Emblem Guess in my language?

The game is available in English, Japanese, Spanish, French and German, and character names are matched in all five — you can type a Japanese name while playing in English and it will still be found.
